Mt. Longshan and Mt. Daishan

Mt. Longshan is 6686-meters above sea level, a mountain located in the central part of Minya Konka Range in Daxueshan Range. It is located on 2.5 south to Mt. Gongga and on its south. Mt. Longshan is not an easy mountain to spot. Mt. Longshan is the third highest mountain in Minya Konka Range. Mt. Longshan has four ridgelines on its west, northeast and southeast. The ridgeline on its souwwest has two side peaks that are 6124 meters and 6068 meters. Mt. Nyampo Konka is located southwes to this mountain.

Mt. Chushan is also called Mt. Zhushan, or Mt. Taishan, Mt. Daishan or Mt. Dai. It is a 6468-meter mountain located in the central part of Minya Konka Range in Daxueshan Range. Mt. Longshan, Mt. Chushan and Mt. Sanlian are the 6000ers located on the southeast ridgeline of Mt. Gongga. The summit of Mt. Chushan is less than 1km west to the summit of Mt. Sanlian. Its west ridge connects to Mt. Longshan and its east ridge connects to Mt. Sanlian. It can be accessed from northeast and south sides. From northeast one goes in from Hailuogou. From south face one goes in from Caoke.

Both east and west are good to access this mountain. From east you go in from Hailuogou. From west you go in from Gongga Gompa and go to the valley to the south. Both approaches will encounter large sections of glaciers.

In 2015 there was a team tried to climb this mountain and returned by around 6500 meters due to bad weather.
