Mount Daddomain is a 6380-meter mountain in Minya Konka in Daxueshan Range. Mt. Daddomain is one of the 6000 meters mountains in Minya Konka Range. It is located in the central part of Minya Konka Range. Mt. Daddomain is 10km north to Mt. Gongga at an elevation of 6380 meters. This mountain can be seen from both east and west sides. From west it’s difficult to tell where is the summit while on its east side, its easy to tell the summit.
Climbing History
First attempted and summited in 2004 via southwest ridge. Recorded attempts to this mountain were in total 3 up til 2018.
In 2004 October, a team from Newzealand made the first summit to this mountain along with another mountain Mt. Langgemain.
In 2008 May, a Korean team tried from east ridge and didn’t summit.
In 2010 September a Chinese team tried from south side and reached 5580 meters and returned due to bad weather.
In 2020 October first summit was made to side peak 6298 by a Chinese team.
Approaching
From east one goes in from Yanzigou Valley and the base of the mountain is at around 3700 meters.From east it takes more time on driving, walking is about the same distance but base of its west wall is at around 4500 meters.
