Northern Qionglaishan Range

North part of Qionglaishan Range is located in the north part of Heishui County. It is called Yanggong Mountains where it borders Hongyuan County by its north. There are some 5000+ mountains meters people never heard of. It borders Songpan County by its northeast. Yanggang Mountains is located between Heishui River and Naxi Valley, connecting Zhegu Mountains by its south with a small range called Yaksha. There are no recorded climbs in this part of Qionglaishan Range.

Mt. Kangtso

The highest peak of Yanggong Mountains is Mt. Kangtso at 5273 meters above sea level. Kangtso means “Sea of Snow”. It is one of the origins of Heishui River. It is called Holy Mountain Logs by people from its east side. It is part of Dagu Glacier Park. There are at least 3 side peaks located by its north that are at around 5000 meters.

Mt. Dari Bago is 5164 meters and is located as part of Dagu Glacier Park. Around Dari Bago there are side peaks with similar height. Mt. Yanggong Haizi is 4975 meters. It is the highest point of Hongyuan County.Mt. Xiniang is 4962 meters. It is located west to Naizi Valley.Mt. Chadongka is 4879 meters. It is located in the nortern part of this massif. From here northwards is the grassland of Songpan.
Northwest part of Qionglaishan Range has some 4500+ meters mountains. This area is located north to Barkam.
Northeast part of Qionglaishan Range also has some 4500+ meters mountains. This are is located east to Heishui Town.
