Mt. Macao is a 5428-m mountain located between Liangtai Valley and Niuxin Valley by the north of Siguniang Range. Mt. Maocao is the most prominent mountain by the north ridge of Shuangqiao Valley.
South to Mt. Macao are the joint of many valleys. Between the end of Liangtai Valley and Mt. Macao, there are many towers that are called “broken mountains”. These towers are measured at above 5000 meters and no summits ever recorded here.
