Kawalori mountains are considered to be part of Daxueshan Range. It is a cluster of mountains that are almost 6000 meters high.
These mountains are located by the east of Gangga next to Ganzi Xian. There was only one recorded summit to the 5992-m main peak the rest has no records of attempt.
These mountains can be accessed from both north and south but usually the south side is troubled with local protection from monks. From north the road can get to around 4000 meters.
