Dahuangfeng

Lixian is a county-level town located by the north of Siguniang Massif and in the center of Qionglaishan Range.  From Lixian one gets to Zhegu Mountains by its north, Siguniang Mountains by its south and Hongqiao Mountains by its west. Lixian is an important stopover place to get access to many mountains in this area of Qionglaishan Range. 

Lixian’s elevation is at around 1900m. It is around 200km NW to Chengdu and with good road it takes only 3 hours to get to. From Lixian you need to drive further to Bipeng, Liangtai and other valleys to the base of the mountains. 

There are cars available to rent in Lixian. Hotels and restaurants are with plenty options. There is also a decent hospital in town as well as many shops. 

Bipengou is a tourist park with good road built inside the valley. It is very easy to go to the base of the mountains in Bipeng including Mt. Yangmantai, Mt. Banji, Mt. Huangguan, Mt. Lion, etc. 

Liangtai Valley has a new road that goes through the mountain to Xiaojin to the south of Siguniang Massif. It is now very easy access to the base of the mountains including Mt. Macao, and the many 5000+ peaks by end of Liangtai.
